Who can become a Coterie host?

We approve hosts who are serious about running great events. You don't need a venue or a business — just knowledge of your sport and a commitment to showing up.

  • You organize or have experience organizing recreational or competitive sports events
  • You have a valid Canadian bank account (for Stripe payouts)
  • You're 18 years of age or older
  • You agree to the Coterie Host Agreement
  • You are responsible for ensuring your venues carry appropriate liability coverage

Participants pay through the Coterie app using Apple Pay or a card.

A small platform fee per registration — no monthly costs, no setup fees. You only pay when participants register.

Typically 2 business days after an event. Set up Stripe once, directly in the Coterie app — takes about 10 minutes.
